The Cricketers is a family run business offering quality and service along with good value for money.
The location is ideal for business and pleasure travellers being only 15 miles from Southampton, 12 miles from Basingstoke and only a mile or so from the A34 to Oxford. Easton lies on the River Itchen, 2 ½ miles north east of Winchester, and is one of several picturesque villages in the area. Despite being so close to Junction 9 of the M3.
The area is very rural in character and is popular with walkers and tourists visiting Winchester. The Itchen Way is a 27 mile long-distance footpath popular with walkers who are attracted to the area by the network of footpaths and the close proximity to Winchester. The Ramblers Association identify a number of walks starting and finishing at The Cricketers. Avington House & Park is another popular tourist attraction within walking distance from us and there is also a 9-hole public golf course nearby.
Easton itself is a small village with a church (Church of St Mary), a garage, a village hall and another pub altogether a very picturesque part of the World
